Terms and conditions

These terms apply to your use of Talent Stage at https://talentstage.co.uk, operated by Rivvar Limited ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to them. Please also read our privacy policy.

Your account

You must be 18 or over, give accurate information and keep your password secure. One person, one account. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us straight away at privacy@talentstage.co.uk if you think someone else has accessed it.

What the platform does, and doesn’t do

Talent Stage gives you a place to present your work and share it with one link. We do not act as your agent, and we do not guarantee work, representation, auditions, casting or any other outcome. We do not verify members’ identities, qualifications, credits or agency representation, and a profile does not mean that anything on it has been checked.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you add, including photos, text and links ("your content"). You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, copy, resize and display your content for the purpose of running the platform and showing your profile as you choose. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies held briefly in backups.

You must have the right to use everything you upload. In particular, you need the photographer’s or copyright owner’s permission to use their photographs, and the consent of anyone else who appears in them.

Acceptable use

You must not:

  • upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or that sexualises anyone;
  • include images of anyone under 18;
  • impersonate anyone, or claim credits, training or representation you don’t have;
  • use the platform to contact people for purposes unrelated to legitimate creative work, or to collect other members’ information;
  • upload malware, try to break or overload the platform, or get around its security;
  • use automated tools to copy profiles or content.

Reporting and complaints

If you see something that breaks these terms, or infringes your rights, contact privacy@talentstage.co.uk with the profile link and what’s wrong. We review reports and may remove content or take action on accounts.

Suspension and termination

We may remove content, suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts other people at risk, or exposes us to legal liability. Where appropriate we will tell you why. You can delete your account at any time from Privacy and data.

Availability

We aim to keep the platform running, but we provide it "as is" and can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or withdraw features. The platform is currently free; if we introduce paid features we will tell you first, and you will never be charged without agreeing.

Third-party links

Profiles can link to other websites and showreel players. We aren’t responsible for their content or how they handle your information.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t legally be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, because the platform is free, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost work or lost opportunities, and our total liability to you is limited to £100.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will tell you and may ask you to review it next time you sign in. If you don’t agree, you can delete your account.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, unless you live elsewhere in the UK, in which case you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
